Jennifer joins Citrin Cooperman’s National Tax Office as Managing Director, Tax Procedure & Controversy, following 12 years at the IRS where she served as senior counsel with the IRS Office of the Chief Counsel, Procedure & Administration. During her tenure at the IRS, Jennifer specialized in partnership audit procedures under TEFRA and the Bipartisan Budget Act of 2015. Notably, Jennifer was a principal author of the BBA regulations and played a significant role in developing procedures and forms for its implementation. Previously Jennifer worked for several years as a CPA providing counsel and tax services for individuals, partnerships, S-corporations, government and non-profit entities. A recognized authority in partnership procedure and controversy, Jennifer frequently speaks on panels concerning the BBA rules.
