Pamela Sawin is a consultant in Citrin Cooperman’s Providence, Rhode Island office with more than 25 years of public accounting experience. Previously, Pam was an audit principal at LGC+D, which joined Citrin Cooperman in 2016. At LGC+D, she was a founding member of the firm’s ‘Women Count’ initiative, which focused on supporting and promoting the growing number of women within the firm and the business community, and their unique needs.
Pam specializes in serving in the healthcare and not-for-profit industries, and closely-held and privately-owned companies. Her focus is on health care reimbursement and operations consulting, budgeting and projections. Pam has considerable expertise in specialized reporting, grant compliance, and revenue recognition matters, including donor-restricted contributions for not-for-profits.
Pam loves the opportunities her career as an accountant offers: helping others achieve their goals, consulting and observing the result, and teaching both clients and colleagues.

Along with her technical skills, Pam’s strengths include training and public speaking, which have earned her recognition and lecturer commendations from The Support Center, Rhode Island Builders’ Association, and Bryant University Women’s Summit, among others.

Outside the Office
A native of rural southern Rhode Island, Pam’s interests in family, fraternal organizations, and volunteerism began at a young age. Her organizational skills were honed as she achieved county and state leadership positions in the Grange and Rainbow, and her love of music, athletics, and the outdoors were natural by-products of her community.
