Bonnie Simmons is a partner in Citrin Cooperman’s Braintree, Massachusetts office. She is a highly experienced client service professional, assisting not-for profit organizations, middle market companies, and owner-managed businesses with their accounting and auditing needs for more than 30 years. Her experience covers a wide range of domestic and international companies in industries including not-for-profit, manufacturing, distribution, leasing companies, professional service corporations, construction contractors, and real estate developers.

Bonnie is a co-leader of the firm’s Massachusetts Not-For-Profit Practice. While maintaining an expertise in the not-for-profit sector and its regulatory reporting requirements, her experience in other industries allows her to bring a unique skill set to her not-for-profit clients and assist with board trainings, social enterprises, management succession, and financing resources.
 

Bonnie is valued by her clients for her ability to quickly learn their particular businesses and the challenges they face. She has an outstanding reputation for developing resourceful solutions to a wide variety of client problems and challenges. She has a very strong technical background and is frequently called upon to assist with specialized technical accounting and reporting issues. Bonnie also has a background in the business valuation field, which has been an asset to her not-for-profit clients considering M&A transactions or incentive compensation plans for key executives. She provides comprehensive advice and consultation on a wide variety of other business management issues.

Previously, Bonnie was a partner at KAF, which joined Citrin Cooperman in 2016.
