Experience
Robert Griffin is a partner with 40 years of public accounting experience in small and medium sized firms. He has extensive experience in accounting and auditing in a wide variety of industries including health care, not-for-profit, manufacturing and distribution, and employee benefit plans. His experience also extends to Yellow Book audits, as well as reviews and compilations.
Rob’s responsibilities within the firm include planning, directing, and performing technical reviews of audit and accounting engagements, training personnel, and ensuring that engagements meet all of the firm’s quality control policies and procedures. Rob has also provided peer review and technical consulting services to other CPA firms and served on the Peer Review Committee of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants, responsible for administrating the AICPA Peer Review Program in New Jersey and is a past chairman of the committee.
Prior to joining Citrin Cooperman, Rob was a partner at Gold Gerstein Group LLC, which joined the firm in 2023.

Community Involvement
Robert serves in the following roles within his community: a consultant at Homeward Bound Pet Adoption Center, the lector at the Church of St. Joan of Arc (Marlton, NJ), and a softball coach for the South Jersey Mystics Organization
Outside the Office
Rob cherishes spending time with his wife and three adult daughters. He is an avid sports fan and has also coached travel softball for 25 years. He enjoys providing mentorship to student-athletes, helping them achieve their collegiate academic and softball goals and having a positive impact on their lives through sports.
