Paul is a director in Citrin Cooperman’s Commercial Tax Practice based out of the Florham Park office. He is an experienced tax professional with a comprehensive understanding of the economic and tax treatment of a diverse range of financial products and transactions. He is also an adjunct lecturer at Baruch College, teaching post-graduate tax, accounting, & MBA candidates.
Paul has extensive experience in providing a wide variety of tax accounting, compliance, and advisory services for corporate, fund, and securitization entities. He is distinctively familiar with various structuring and allocation methodologies. He has managed numerous entities’ tax compliance engagements, including 1065s, PFIC reporting, Forms 5500, 8865, 5471, 1042/1042-S, 8804/8805, 1120s, 1120-Fs, and associated tax provisions & accruals, and reviews financial statement disclosures, & FIN 48 analyses. Paul also has experience in mentoring and overseeing tax teams, both in public and private settings.
Prior to Citrin Cooperman, Paul oversaw the Fund Tax team at Bridgewater Associates, was Head of Tax at Highbridge Capital, and recently served as Tax Manager at Pagaya Technologies.

Community Involvement
Paul served as a Finance Committee Member for Glen Ridge Country Club and has taught financial literacy classes to middle schoolers with Junior Achievement of NJ. He has also served the Glen Ridge Athletic Association as the girls’ rec. basketball league commissioner & boys’ travel baseball head coach. He is currently head coach of the 6th grade boys travel basketball team. He also provides pro-bono tax preparation services to several local foundations.
Outside the Office
When not working, Paul spends his time with his wife & three children. He’s a big-time NY Giants fan and a season ticket holder for Seton Hall Pirates basketball. He enjoys all kinds of watersports, including sailing, snorkeling, scuba diving, surfing, windsurfing, kayaking, and water skiing.
