Experience

John is a partner in Citrin Cooperman’s Audit and Attest Practice based out of the Woodmere, OH office. He has extensive experience as an auditor and consultant for privately held companies and not-for-profits, including government-funded organizations and family-owned businesses.

John uses his expertise to advise manufacturers, distributors, retailers, HUD-insured properties, CCRCs, hospitals, health systems, assisted living, and long-term care facilities. He also has experience with due diligence services relative to mergers and acquisitions, Hospital Care Assurance Program (“HCAP”) data review engagements, fraud risk assessments, industry benchmarking, financial assessments, and other business advisory services.

John is the former Board chair for Centers for Dialysis Care and Centers for Dialysis Care Foundation and is still on the Board of Directors as well as the Finance Committee chair and Executive Committee member for both organizations. He is also a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Previously, John was a principal at HW&Co., which joined Citrin Cooperman in 2025.
