Tom LaPlaca Joins Citrin Cooperman’s Philadelphia Office

Tom LaPlaca has joined Citrin Cooperman, the leading audit, tax, and advisory firm, as a partner in the firm’s Audit and Attest Practice, based in Philadelphia.  Most recently, he served as an assurance partner of Moss Adams’ Orange County, California office.  Tom brings deep experience in specialized industries, including real estate and hospitality.

In addition to his industry knowledge, LaPlaca is well versed in complex revenue recognition and lease accounting readiness and provides a broad range of advisory services including SEC reporting and technical accounting, mergers and acquisitions, financial management, process improvements, and business structuring.

Prior to joining Citrin Cooperman, LaPlaca was a partner at accounting firms Moss Adams and EY, and a SVP and chief accounting officer of a publicly-traded gaming and entertainment conglomerate with significant real estate holdings.
