Stacy L. Gilbert serves as the regional managing partner for the firm's White Plains, New Jersey, Boston Metro, and Providence offices. She is also an audit and tax partner with over 30 years of expertise providing tax, accounting, business, and forensic valuation services. She has a strong focus in the restaurant and hospitality industries, serving as a co-leader of the firm’s Restaurant and Hospitality Practice and specializing in business consulting services.
Stacy has specialized knowledge in numerous industries, advising clients in businesses such as restaurant and hospitality, franchising, retail, technology, and foods manufacturing and distribution, as well as women entrepreneurs and business leaders. She consults on a variety of tax matters including tax compliance and tax planning, income, payroll and sales tax, and foreign reporting, and provides business advisory services with respect to structuring, internal control, and profitability enhancement. She also has experience with mergers and acquisitions, providing necessary knowledge and advice to start-up companies.
Stacy has a deep expertise in representing clients before the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and various state taxing authorities. She specializes in helping clients navigate through complex financial challenges to minimize penalties and create a favorable outcome.
Stacy is one of the founding members of the firm's Women's Initiatives Committee and the first woman to be voted to the firm's Executive Committee. She is recognized by Crain’s New York Business for being a “Notable Women in Accounting & Consulting” (2019 and 2022) and by ROI-NJ “ROI-Influencers: Women in Business” (2021). She has also been named by Total Food Service Magazine as a “Top Women in Metro New York Foodservice and Hospitality” (2020 and 2019}; and by LWE (Leading Women Entrepreneurs) as a “Top 25 Leading Women Intrapreneur” (2019). She is the recipient of the NJBIZ "Best 50 Women in Business" award (2018), and the NJSCPA "Women of Note" award (2016). Stacy is a member of the Executive Women of New Jersey (EWNJ), a not-for-profit organization for the advancement of women. Stacy has authored numerous articles on women’s leadership and continues to advocate for women in the accounting profession.

She is a published author and contributes to a variety of mainstream media and restaurant and hospitality publications, including the Wall Street Journal, Crain’s New York, NJBIZ, FSR magazine, Restaurant Resource Management, Modern Restaurant, and Restaurant Hospitality. She is the annual host and moderator of the firm's Women at the Wheel NJ conference, and has been invited to speak at functions presented by the New York City Hospitality Alliance, Crain's New York, ROI-NJ, New York State Restaurant Association, and other industry groups. She has also been engaged to lecture on small and entrepreneurial business fundamentals, effective small business auditing, depreciation, and the review of financial statements and tax returns, among other topics, at various industry forums.
