Experience
Matthew Kuchinsky serves as the managing partner for the Firm’s White Plains, NY and Connecticut offices. He is also a member of Citrin Cooperman's executive committee. Matt is a business consulting and tax partner with more than 20 years of experience serving as a business advisor.
Matt focuses on the needs of companies operating in a wide range of industries, including law firms, printers, and staffing and service companies. He also has vast experience with advising clients in the real estate and manufacturing industries, as well as high net worth individuals and families.
As a business consultant, Matt advises clients on a range of matters, including operational and tax issues, maximizing profitability, advisement on mergers and acquisitions, business succession, and optimal entity selection. He also possesses a deep expertise in structuring complicated transactions for business owners to meet their goals and obtain desired results.
For high net worth individuals and families, he creates planning strategies for tax-efficient wealth transfers and handles all of his clients vast tax compliance needs. He also helps clients develop proactive strategies using various types of trusts to achieve intended asset direction for family groups.
Prior to joining Citrin Cooperman, Matt spent several years at a New York based firm.
