Tim is a partner focused on serving clients operating in the alternative investment space. 

Tim specializes in providing accounting, financial reporting, internal control, and audit assistance services to private equity funds, hedge funds, fund of funds, infrastructure funds, and real estate funds. His clients range from start-up managers to complex, multinational financial institutions. He adeptly guides these clients on matters related to private equity and fixed income securities, as well as distressed debt and derivatives.

Tim was an assurance principal at Untracht Early, which joined Citrin Cooperman in 2022. Prior to joining Untracht Early, Tim had a 22-year career working with alternative investment clients as an audit partner in the Investment Management Practice at a Big Four. In his prior role, he acted as lead engagement partner for audits conducted on behalf of his private equity and hedge fund clients. He was also responsible for coordinating taxation and valuation resources for those engagements requiring the services of a broader team of specialists. Additionally, he served as a valued resource to internal professionals looking for guidance on audit methodology, audit sampling, and other related technical matters. While at Untracht Early, Tim created and spearheaded a robust business development programs, seeking out appropriate participants, creating timely content, and propelling the initiative forward.

Tim participated in the Global Assset Management Executive Education Partner Academy at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business.
