Experience

Patricia Cummings is the Chief Risk Officer of Citrin Cooperman Advisors LLC. With more than 25 years of public accounting experience she has held leadership positions throughout her career at the firm, including Co-Managing Partner of the New York City and Philadelphia offices, Audit and Attest Committee Chair, Executive Committee member and Managing Partner, Industries. Prior to joining Citrin Cooperman, Pat was a Partner at a Global 6 accounting firm.  Pat is laser-focused on the audit of the future including the use of technology, industry knowledge and other innovations to improve attest services and provide additional value to clients and their stakeholders.

Pat brings a wealth of more than 25 years of experience providing audit, accounting, and advisory services to public and private multinational clients in several industries, including private equity, professional services, manufacturing and distribution, and technology. Her client service experience includes leading complex engagements and helping clients confront challenging business issues. She has extensive experience in acquisitions, divestitures, capital-raising transactions including initial public offerings, and complex accounting and financial reporting issues. In addition, Pat has experience in bankruptcy accounting and reporting.

Prior to joining Citrin Cooperman, Pat spent 17 years with Grant Thornton LLP, most recently as an assistant managing partner of its New York office, where she led audit engagements for global companies and served as the engagement quality review partner for other clients. Pat also previously worked for the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and commenced her career in public accounting with a Big Four accounting firm.
