Joseph Nieradka is a partner in Citrin Cooperman’s financial services practice, where he oversees audit engagements for broker-dealers, mutual funds, hedge funds, and private equity funds. Joe specializes in audits of investment banking, introducing and clearing broker-dealers as well as vehicles active in alternative markets, such as private equity, asset backed securities, repo/reverse repos, fixed income financing, stock loan/stock borrow and derivatives.

Joe has over 20 years of experience in public accounting. Prior to joining Citrin Cooperman in 2018, Joe was a senior manager in the financial services practice of a Big 4 national accounting firm, where he focused on audits of broker-dealers, mutual funds, hedge funds, and private equity funds. Joe advises clients on all facets of investment management operations, including fund formation, internal controls, regulatory compliance, and financial statement audits.
