Experience

Dennis is a partner at Citrin Cooperman. His responsibilities include the overall management of the Murray Devine Team at Citrin Cooperman, including technical review, business development, and new services. He is directly involved in and supervises the due diligence and analyses in connection with matters relating to financial valuations.

Dennis has over 30 years of experience in the valuation industry. In 1989, Dennis and Frank Devine started Murray Devine, which joined Citrin Cooperman in 2022. As well as managing day-to-day operations of the firm, Dennis was active on the valuation side of the business, managing valuation engagements of various debt and equity securities, private and public companies, and intangible assets across a broad range of industries. In addition, Dennis oversaw the analyses of solvency and fairness opinions. Dennis was also instrumental in building Murray Devine’s portfolio valuation business for private investment funds. Portfolio valuations include a wide array of securities—among them, warrants, subordinated debt, convertible preferred stock, and common stock.

Dennis is a graduate of Drexel University with a Bachelor of Science degree. He has lectured on issues relating to valuing tangible and intangible assets, solvency opinions, and fraudulent conveyance matters. Based on his experience, Dennis is qualified as an expert witness for litigation support matters. He is an active member of various organizations and associations, including the Association for Corporate Growth and the Philadelphia Estate Planning Council.
