Citrin Cooperman, along with HIA-LI and Adelphi University, is proud to announce the release of our 2023 Long Island Economic Survey! This survey provides details on the most current and relevant information regarding the Long Island economy to help regional business leaders make better decisions.

For 2023, the survey had over 200 Long Island businesses as participants. These businesses provided invaluable insights and perspectives on the economic and political issues impacting the Long Island region. The collected results highlight economic obstacles that Long Island businesses faced in 2022, and how they plan to overcome them in 2023.

Some of the key takeaways include:

• Inflation is a major concern for most businesses
• COVID is no longer a dominant concern
• Supply chain issues will linger for some time
• Compensation and other human resources issues remain high on the agenda
• While confidence in government’s role could be greater, Long Island continues to be perceived as a good place to do business
