William A. Brenner, CPA


William A. Brenner is a partner with more than 15 years of experience providing tax, accounting, and business consulting services. His clients include owners of closely held businesses in diverse industries including, technology and medical device developers, medical and dental practices, law firms, specialty manufacturers, financial services, insurance agencies, and high net worth individuals.
Prior to becoming a CPA and business advisor, Bill was the owner of several small businesses. His clients benefit from the unique perspective and valuable management skills that he brings to the table.
Bill takes a hands-on approach with his clients, working closely with them to gain an in-depth understanding of their businesses, their challenges, and their goals. His expertise spans the areas of business and profitability consulting, tax planning, mergers and acquisitions, and succession planning.

Bill has authored a number of articles, which have appeared in publications such as the Hudson Valley Business Journal and the Westchester County Business Journal. He is regularly engaged to speak at small business roundtables and conference groups on a variety of business consulting topics.
Bill is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA). He is also a member of the Hudson Valley Estate Planning Council and sits on the board of the Community Foundations of the Hudson Valley.
Education & Licenses
Bill earned his B.S. in Accounting from the State University of New York at New Paltz. He also holds a B.S. in Construction Management and Architectural Technology from the New York Institute of Technology. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York.
