Victor Mizzaro, CPA
Victor Mizzaro is an audit partner with over 25 years of experience serving clients in the real estate industry, including residential and commercial real estate owners, operators, and managers. He also serves as an advisor to clients in the technology industry.
For his real estate clients, Victor provides a variety of audit, tax, and business consulting services. Areas of expertise include day-to-day advisement on matters such as cash flow analysis, tax-free exchanges, and changes in accounting and tax regulations, as well as due diligence regarding property acquisitions and sales. He also works with real estate owners on individual tax strategies.
Victor also brings great value to clients in the technology sector. With a wealth of knowledge in scaling businesses for growth and profitability, he works closely with clients from start-up phases through maturity. He also provides expertise such as cash flow analysis and develops exit strategies.
Prior to joining Citrin Cooperman, Victor was a partner at a Weissbarth, Altman & Slavet LLP, which joined Citrin Cooperman in 2006. Earlier in his career, he served at two small NY-based firms.

Victor received the accolade, “Best Technology Accountant for Growing Businesses” from the New York Enterprise Report, in 2011.
Victor is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He also serves as the Chair of the Real Estate Special Interests Group of Moore Stephens North America and is on the Real Estate Committee of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA).
Education & Licenses
Victor earned his B.S. in Public Accounting from Fordham University. He is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York.
