Ronald J. Carlen, CPA
Ronald J. Carlen is a partner with over 30 years of experience in international taxation. He advises clients on tax planning and compliance for international financial institutions and international executives. Ronald has a particular expertise in international and domestic banking.
Ronald was a partner in the firm MGI Repetti LLP, which joined Citrin Cooperman in 2014.
In addition to Ronald’s expatriate tax work, he also has extensive experience representing clients before IRS, New York State and New York City tax examiners and appeals officers.
Ronald is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), where he is active in its Tax Division. He is also a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA), where he serves on the International Tax Committee and the Committee of Banking Institutions on Taxation (CBIT).
Education & Licenses
Ronald earned his B.S. in Accounting and M.B.A. in Taxation from New York University. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York.
