Robert A. Modansky, CPA, CFF, CGMA
Robert Modansky is a partner in the firm’s Valuation and Forensic Services practice. Robert brings over 25 years of experience providing accounting, audit, tax, litigation, forensic accounting, business advisory solutions, and expert witness services to his clients.
Prior to joining Citrin Cooperman, Robert was a partner at a regional accounting firm.
Robert brings a wealth of expertise in evaluating issues of solvency, debt, and other issues relating to bankruptcy and insolvency. Robert has also provided expert witness testimony in state courts in both forensic and fraud matters.
Presentation and Publications
Robert has authored numerous articles for various publications, including the Journal of Accountancy (Asset-Based Financing Basics, August 2011). He has also given lectures at the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and at Long Island University on bankruptcy and other related topics.
Robert is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA). He has served on the National Editorial Board (NEB) for Trendlines, a PDI Global/Thomson Reuters publication. Robert has served on both the New York City Bar Association Personal Tax committee and Bankruptcy and Corporate Reorganization committee as an invited non-attorney member.
Education & Licenses
Robert received his B.S. in Business Administration from American University. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York. Robert also has the Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) and Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designations established by the AICPA.
