Richard Rosenkrantz is a partner in the New York City office and a member of the firm’s industry-leading restaurant and hospitality practice. Richard has over 40 years of experience providing accounting and audit services to a variety of privately held companies including restaurants, manufacturing and distribution, construction, and food service industries.
Richard spent 34 years, 25 as a partner, at Joel Popkin & Company, a boutique accounting firm located in New York City, which joined Citrin Cooperman in 2015.
In addition to performing attest services, Richard is involved with corporate structuring, internal control review and implementation, tax projections and tax planning, budgeting and forecasting. Richard also provides business consulting and financial advice for several internationally-based clients.
He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA), and is also a Chartered Global Management Accountant.
Education & Licenses
Richard obtained a BBA in Accounting from The City University of New York, Baruch College. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York.
