Pamela Sawin is an audit director in Citrin Cooperman’s Rhode Island office. She specializes in serving in the health care and not-for-profit industries, and closely held and privately owned companies. Her focus is on health care reimbursement and operations consulting, budgeting and projections. Pam has considerable expertise in specialized reporting, grant compliance, and revenue recognition matters, including donor restricted contributions for not-for-profits.
Previously, Pam was an audit principal at LGC+D, which joined Citrin Cooperman in 2016. At LGC+D, Pam was a founding member of the firm’s ‘Women Count’ Initiative, which focused on supporting and promoting the growing number of women within the firm and the business community, and their unique needs.
Pam loves the opportunities her career as an accountant offers such as helping others achieve their goals, consulting and observing the result, and teaching both clients and colleagues.

Along with her technical skills, another of Pam’s special strengths is training and public speaking, earning her recognition and lecturer commendations from The Support Center, Rhode Island Builders’ Association, and Bryant University Women’s Summit.
Pam is involved in several professional groups and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Rhode Island Society of Certified Public Accountants (RISCPA), and the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA). She is also an active leader in her community of Foxborough, Massachusetts. She is the treasurer of the Neponset Choral Society and a former treasurer of Opera Providence, among a wide variety of additional community leadership roles. She also sings with the Neponset Choral Society and her church’s choir, in addition to serving on its technology and music committees.

Pam earned a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Rhode Island. She is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Rhode Island.
