Michael Hinchey is a tax director in Citrin Cooperman’s Braintree, Massachusetts office with over 30 years of experience in public accounting, financial services, and business consulting. He specializes in tax planning and tax compliance for a variety of closely held businesses. His experience includes concentrations in both closely held corporations and not-for-profit organizations.
Previously, Michael was a tax director at KAF, which joined Citrin Cooperman in 2016.
Michael also advises clients on tax exempt issues, compensation planning, and estate planning.
Michael is a member of the United States Tax Court Bar, the United States District Court Bar, Boston Bar Association, Massachusetts Bar Association, and the Massachusetts Society of CPAs (MSCPA).

Michael earned a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Notre Dame and a J.D. from Suffolk University Law School. He also holds an L.L.M. in Taxation from Boston University School of Law.
