Michael A. Bartels brings over 10 years of business development experience to Citrin Cooperman. He is responsible for overseeing all aspects of business development for Citrin Cooperman and its five offices in New York, White Plains, Norwalk, CT, Livingston, NJ, and Philadelphia.
Mike is a results and focused oriented business development director possessing a proven track record of cultivating and securing new business, directing efforts of sales team and developing programs to enhance revenue. Mike is a highly motivated leader able to maximize personnel effectiveness by instituting direct mail programs, monitoring and evaluating performance and assisting in closing sales when necessary.
His background prior to joining Citrin Cooperman has varied from being an in house accountant within health care systems and telecommunication companies, managing and working in all aspects of the restaurant industry, being a senior national account manager for a web based and teleconferencing company, as well as working in the financial services area as a clerk on the NYSE.
Mike attended Brookdale Community College, as well as Monmouth University in West Long Branch, NJ where he majored in accounting. He is also a member of the NJSA Industry Partner Group and attends various conferences around the country in various industries.
