Mary Sheridan, CPA
Mary Sheridan brings more than 20 years of client service and operational experience to her role as the partner-in-charge of Tax Operations for the firm’s New York City Office. Mary is one of the firm’s tax quality control partners.
Prior to joining Citrin Cooperman, Mary held tax roles at regional and national accounting firms and at the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), where she worked closely with the organization’s chief operating officer.
Mary plays an integral role in managing the administrative function of the NYC tax department. Her responsibilities include facilitating tax due diligence; overseeing tax quality control as it relates to the firm’s tax policies and procedures; ensuring workflow efficiency; recruiting, evaluating, and recommending candidates for hire; and staff supervision, mentoring, and retention.
Mary is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
Education & Licenses
Mary earned her B.S. in Accounting and her M.S.T. from Fordham University. She is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York.
