Lawrence Bass, CPA, J.D., a director in the firm’s New York office, has more than 30 years experience providing corporations and individuals with accounting, auditing, tax, planning and advisory services.
He specializes in advising business clients on their financial and operating planning needs. Larry has a great deal of experience in helping public and privately held clients identify, negotiate and secure debt and equity financing, establish relationships with banks and factors, complete mergers and acquisitions, and raise capital through private placements and angel investors.
Larry works with companies in the technology, real estate, consumer services, textile and apparel, as well as media industries.
For individuals, Larry focuses his efforts on providing estate, financial, and elder care planning services.
Larry is also an attorney licensed to practice before the New York Bar. He is a member of the NYSSCPA. Lawrence has been active in a number of organizations, including the New York Chamber Symphony (Treasurer), the Children's Blood Foundation (Board Member), and the Van Pelt/Bass Foundation (President).
He received his bachelor’s degree in economics from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and his J.D. degree from the New York University Law School.
