Kurt Elsaesser, CPA
Kurt Elsaesser is an accounting and consulting partner with over 30 years of public accounting experience, as well as three years of experience in the government sector as an auditor for the State of Illinois. He works closely with privately owned small and mid-sized companies in an array of industries, including real estate, restaurants, fuel companies, florists, distribution, and professional service firms.
Kurt brings a wealth of knowledge to budgeting, forecasting, bank financing, and partnership agreements, in addition to counsel on related tax and accounting issues. He is highly skilled in helping business owners increase their profitability while improving their quality of life, developing strategies to assist clients with increasing their product lines and acquiring new businesses.
Kurt also has deep expertise in the restaurant sector and works closely with restaurant owners in the areas of budgets and profitability.
Prior to joining Citrin Cooperman, Kurt spent 10 years with a mid-sized firm.
Kurt is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJSCPA). He also serves as a Director for the New Jersey Restaurant Association (NJRA).
Education & Licenses
Kurt earned his B.S. in Commerce from Rider University in New Jersey. He received his M.B.A. in Business Administration and Taxation from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New Jersey.
