Kenneth Burstiner, CPA, CFP


Kenneth Burstiner is a tax director at Citrin Cooperman with over 20 years of experience providing tax and financial consulting services to high net-worth individuals, businesses, and family office clients. He specializes in planning for all stages in a family’s tax and wealth management lifecycle, including succession planning, wealth transfer, charitable giving, cash flow management, current tax compliance matters, and executive compensation. 
His industry expertise includes privately owned businesses, professional service firms, real estate companies, corporate executives, and family offices. He has both public accounting and private wealth management experience and discreetly provides business consulting and personal tax services to clients with wealth ranging from the millions to several billions of dollars.

Kenneth is a lecturer and author on current tax matters affecting his client base and has been published in the The CPA Journal, CPA Magazine, and quoted on industry trade web sites. 
Kenneth is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), specifically its Tax Division. He is also a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA). 

Education & Licenses
Kenneth earned his B.S. in Accounting from Syracuse University. He also holds an M.S. in Management & Systems from New York University and an M.S. in Taxation from Fordham University. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the States of New York and Connecticut and a Certified Financial Planner®.
