Jonathan  Hecht, CPA, CGMA, CFF

Director

Jonathan is a forensic accounting and litigation support director in our Valuation and Forensic Services group, with an extensive history of investigations including litigation and dispute resolution services.

Jon has worked on fraud, white-collar, and misappropriation of assets investigations, breach of fiduciary responsibility claims, economic damage calculations and FCPA violations. His experience runs across many industries including life-sciences, manufacturing, financial services, construction, and not-for-profit organizations. Jon has worked extensively with both public and privately held entities.
 

Prior to joining Citrin Cooperman, Jon was a senior manager at Grant Thornton and held a senior consultant position at a Big 4 accounting firm.

Jonathan is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AIPCA), the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA), and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. 


Education & Licenses
Jonathan holds a B.S. in Accounting from Bingmhamton University. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York. 

Outside the Office 
Jon lives in Riverdale with his wife, Ruthie, and their seven year old son.
