John R. Repetti is a client service partner who has more than 25 years of experience in advising both international and domestic businesses as well as family offices and high net worth individuals. His tax planning skills and understanding of financial reporting have been extremely valuable to clients around the globe.
John was a founding partner of the firm MGI Repetti LLP, a regional accounting firm, which joined Citrin Cooperman in 2014. He was also the former world-wide chairman of MGI International, an association of accounting firms with over 280 offices in more than 80 countries with over 5,500 professionals worldwide. John has founded and served on the board of numerous successful companies during his career including Gold Coast Bank where he is a founder, board member and the chairman of the bank’s audit committee.
With a wealth of knowledge in addressing the needs of high net worth individuals and businesses, John provides clients with concierge-style business management solutions for all aspects of their professional and personal lives. His areas of expertise include wealth preservation, restructurings and turnarounds, and due diligence. He also advises on international enterprises, technology, food service, financial service companies, real estate, and not-for-profit organizations.
John is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA), and the Florida institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA).
Education & Licenses
John earned his B.A.in Accounting from Fordham University, where he was inducted into the Fordham University Athletic Hall of Fame. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the States of New York and Florida.
