Glenys Merejo is a tax director in Citrin Cooperman's Livingston, N.J. office with more than 13 years of experience. She provides accounting, tax planning, and tax quality control services to a variety of clients. As a highly qualified tax professional, she is responsible for tax compliance services such as preparing complex tax filings for high net-worth individuals, as well as closely held businesses.
Glenys brings fresh insight to every engagement and helps develop innovative solutions. She has represented clients before the Internal Revenue Service and various state tax authorities. Fluent in Spanish, Glenys also serves as an advisor to many Hispanic-owned businesses.
Glenys serves on as a member of the firm's Scholarship, Citrin Cooperman Cares, Citrin Cooperman Wellness, and Women’s Initiative Committees.

Glenys has written articles that have appeared in the New Jersey CPA (NJCPA) magazine. She also presented helpful tips to small business owners at the Small Business Taxes: Less Mistakes, More Returns
seminar in Jersey City. Glenys was awarded NJBIZ’s 40 Under 40 award in 2015 in recognition of her tremendous achievements, both professionally and in the community.
Glenys is a member of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJSCPA). She is the treasurer and a member of the Executive Committee of the Hispanic Business Council Scholarship Foundation of NJ, where she previously served as a trustee. She is an active member of the New Jersey Society of CPAs (NJSCPA) Scholarship Committee, where she was also a scholarship recipient. In her community, Glenys served as vice-president for a parent-teacher association and is an active volunteer at her local church.

Glenys graduated summa cum laude from New Jersey City University with a B.S. in Accounting. She earned her Master of Accountancy in Taxation from Rutgers University. She is a Certified Public Accountant in the States of New Jersey and New York.
