Anthony is a tax director with over 13 years of experience providing tax compliance, planning, and accounting services to large partnerships, corporations, and individuals, primarily in the private equity and real estate industries.
Before joining Citrin Cooperman, Anthony worked at national accounting firms, where his responsibilities included servicing high profile private equity clients, performing due diligence for M&A transactions, and detailed reviews of large complex partnership corporate, and individual returns.
With his expertise in the area of partnership taxation, Anthony helps his clients understand the complex rules of Subchapter K, specifically regarding partner allocations. He brings value to his clients by constantly looking for efficient ways to help minimize their federal and state tax burdens. He effectively utilizes strategies such as like-kind exchanges for his real estate clients, as well as the infusion of blocker corporations for his private equity clients.
Presentations and Publications
Anthony was a panelist at an Exit Planning Exchange (XPX) event and presented on year-end tax planning. He has also presented on hot topics related to small business owners at a Patriot Bank event.
Anthony is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA).
Education & Licenses
Anthony received his B.S. in Accounting from Brooklyn College and his Master’s Degree in Taxation from Baruch College. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York.
