Alex is a skilled mergers and acquisitions specialist who works with clients to examine the business and tax side of proposed deals to gain financial insight and determine any deal's long-term viability. He is the managing partner of the firm’s Livingston, N.J. office.
He has spent the past twenty five years solving the tax planning and strategic problems of both closely held businesses and individuals, including representing their interests before the IRS and the state. Alex is also a key advisor to clients regarding their trust and estate planning as part of their overall strategic planning.
Alex has been with Citrin Cooperman since 1985 and is a graduate of Brooklyn College. Fluent in Spanish, Alex has also help International Spanish Companies and Hispanic Companies expand their businesses in the US.
A featured speaker at industry seminars, Alex is a member of the New York and New Jersey State Societies of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs. He has recently been appointed as a board member of the Metro YMCAs of the Oranges. He is also a former member of the Board of Directors of the Hispanic Business Council and Commerce & Industry Association of NJ. Additionally, Alex heads the firm’s Scholarship Program and is part of the firm’s executive committee.
