Albert Salem, CPA
Albert Salem is a partner with more than 10 years of experience working with clients in a wide range of industries, including manufacturing and distribution, technology, for-profit education organizations, consulting and legal companies, and other various consumer goods and service businesses. He also has extensive experience auditing financial statements for a diverse client base, including companies with an international presence and foreign operations.
Prior to joining Citrin Cooperman, Albert was a director at a national accounting firm, where he managed client services and relationships on a daily basis.
As an audit specialist, Albert helps his clients develop strategies to scale company growth, such as his recent notable engagement assisting a retail chain store designer expand in the international market. He also analyzes internal efficiencies and reporting processes to significantly improve them.
In addition, Albert plays an integral role in helping clients make critical business decisions relating to banking, cash management, tax exposure, business processes, and other matters. Recently, he provided a management service client with consulting services in a foreign country, resulting in more effectively managed global operations. In another instance, he assisted a client in creating divisional reporting to help make more informed and timely decisions.

Albert frequently writes and speaks about current business issues affecting his clients. His most recent speaking engagement was on the topic of the tax benefits when utilizing a captive insurer.
Albert is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA).
Education & Licenses
Albert earned his B.S. in Accounting and Finance with honors from Yeshiva University. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York.
