The DOL’s intent for sending this communication is to provide plan administrators with a reminder of the importance of selecting a qualified audit firm to perform the annual audit of your plan’s financial statements. There is no need for you to be concerned as this is a best practices type of communication. No response to the DOL is required in connection with this communication.
