Citrin Cooperman Appoints New International Tax Practice Leader

New York (JULY 20, 2016) – Citrin Cooperman is pleased to announce that Timothy Larson has joined the firm as leader of the International Tax Practice.  Prior to joining Citrin Cooperman, Larson served as the national leader of the International Tax Practice at a top 20 U.S. accounting firm.

“We have been strategically investing in our International Services Practice Group to accommodate our client’s international business and investors growing needs for international tax and consulting services,” said Citrin Cooperman CEO, Joel Cooperman.  “We’re thrilled to have Tim join our team, as his skill set and experience will be a huge asset for our team.”

Larson has over 24 years of experience providing strategic international tax planning and advisory services for both inbound and outbound clients. He specializes in advising multinational corporations on the U.S. tax aspects of cross- border direct and indirect taxation, repatriation and foreign tax credit planning, as well as restructuring, acquisition and deposition planning, intellectual property migration, supply chain planning, ASC 740 reporting, and transfer pricing. In addition, he assists individuals with inbound tax structuring of investments in U.S. real property and pre-immigration planning.

Larson holds a BBA in Accounting and a Master in Professional Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin.  He is a Certified Public Accountant in the States of New Jersey, New York, and Texas.  He is also an adjunct tax professor at Rutgers University.
